The Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of the branch, including operations, product & services sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives. Develops new deposit and loan business; provides a superior level of customer relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation; achieves individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships. Provides leadership, training and supervision; delegates day-to-day operations to the Assistant Branch Manager or other branch personnel. Responsible for attaining established Bank and branch goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs. Participates in community events to increase the Bank's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities. May perform duties in the absence of the Assistant Branch Manager or Platform Sales employees or other such management capacities as directed by Senior Management. Some of the teller/CSR responsibilities are, but not limited to: service customers by processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, selling products and services and opening new accounts according to set policies and procedures. Must be aware of check cashing guidelines, fraud loss and security requirements. Responsible for maintaining and balancing assigned cash drawer; files signature cards and completes end of the day proof; and familiarize self with bank products and services, and identifies cross-sell opportunities and makes referrals to platform staff according to sales culture.
Candidates must possess the following: excellent customer service orientation, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; courteous, professional, detail oriented and organized; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; basic computer and typewriting skills; ability to lift a minimum of ten pounds. Experience minimum of one year consecutive cash handling experience. Previous bank experience required for CSR position.
